Power and Authority…..
Power is the ability to do something or act in a particular way while authority is a power or right, usually because of rank or office, to issue a command. As I continued to research spiritual power and authority, I recieved great revelation. It was awesome guys.
December is the 12th month of the year. Spiritually and biblically the number 12 represents completeness and wholeness. It represents power and authority. This tells me that we, as king’s kids, have the right because of who our father is to speak things into existence. To think thoughts that will manifest in our lives. We have the right to issue commands and they have to be fulfilled because of our connection to God. This was good to me. So do you mean that what I say and think can impact my present and my future? It absolutely can! That is why it’s so imparitive that we speak and think of only the things that we would like to see take place. Some have cursed their own future and don’t even know it. Some of us are stagnate and can’t figure out why. It’s because we are giving too much energy to our past. We are giving too much energy to not so good memories. We are giving too much energy to things that we can not control. We must understand that we have a birth right, an inheritance through Jesus Christ to command a thing and it shall be done. Matthew 11:23 tells us that we can say to the mountain move from here to there and it has to move.
I challenge you to start speaking over your life today those things that you want God to do for you. I challenge you to start thinking positive thoughts towards yourself and your family. Romans 12:2 states that we can not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of our minds. Phillipians 4:8 instructs us to think on things that are true, holy, pure and just. Things that brings us peace, joy, laughter and encouragement.
This is a challenge even for myself as I prepare for next level blessings, I must begin thinking on the next level and I have my Bible, study guides and other books in place to help me do so. If we want to overcome depressing thoughts, fearful thoughts, thoughts that puts us in a bad place, we are going to have to redirect them and what better way than through the word of God.
