Restoration

It’s My Time

I went through a lot of emotional pain and sorrow just a year ago. I was heartbroken and sad. I experienced depression and anxiety like never before. At some points I wanted to give up but God kept me. He held me close and woudn’t let me go. Now my ” after this” is here. It’s my time. Time for what, many may ask? I gladly answer that it is my time to let my light shine bright. It is my time to recieve everything that God has for me. And guess what? It’s your time too! It’s time to move from victim to victor. It’s time to move from defeat to victory. It’s time for us to make a decision like Ruth, to move forward towards our promise land. Ruth and Naomi both suffered great loss. Their grief was tremendous; however, Ruth made a decision to be obedient to God and to follow his will for her life even though she did not understand. Even though she was heartbroken. Ruth knew that God had great plans for her ” after this” and that her joy was around the corner. On the other hand, Naomi chose to be bitter and sorrowful. Naomi didn’t realize that it was her time. Many of you may not realize that either.

We all go through the Naomi phase. During this phase we feel angry, disappointed, broken and sorrowful. It’s hard to find the good in your situation when you are hurting but if we truly want to walk into our season of restoration we have to remove all of the negative emotions, drop the Naomi mentality and declare that it’s our time. It’s our time to win over the enemy. It’s our time to enjoy life. It’s our time to ” Turn Tragedy To Triumph”. It’s our time to not only talk the talk but to walk the walk. We have to put some feet on our declarations and go get our blessings and our promises. We have to bold and confident and most importantly we have to trust God like Ruth. He said that he would never leave us nor forsake us. He said that he would be with us always. Once we believe that and recieve it in our hearts, we can proudly tell the world that this is ” My Time” and I will recieve the belssings and promises of the Lord!!!

  2. So amazing my niece. This is my first time reading your story, but thank GOD for giving you this vision because it will truly help others who are going through. May GOD continue to grow your vision and that you continue to be used by HIM. I want to be like Ruth.
